Know your 2016 Candidates

• Taxes

          Platform supports the elimination of special interest tax loopholes, and the removal double taxation for small business. He also wants to replace all income and payroll taxes with a single consumption tax.

• Social Issues

           Johnson supports planned parenthood, however he's against federal funding for abortion and believes that insurance companies should be required to provide abortion. He also supports gay marriage and plans to combat workplace discrimination.

• Education

          Johnson wants to do away with common core and replace it with curriculum based on local feedback, he also wants to eliminate the department of education and is against student loans.

• Energy

          Johnson supports both renewable resources and fossil fuels along with federal regulation, however he doesn't support federal funding for energy and wants it to become a private subsidiary and grow without government help.

• Foreign Policy

          Platform wishes to stay neutral in world affairs and stay out of foreign entanglements. He also wishes to stay in the U.N. but stay out of foreign affairs, and he believes that America can't afford to spend billions on foreign affairs anymore.
