Know your 2016 Candidates

• Economic Policies

          Blunt wishes to expand America's economy by enhancing infrastructure and increasing manufacturing to boost jobs states side. He also supports expanding American energy.

• Energy

          Platform supports the exploration of oil and natural gas in order to reduce America's dependence on foreign energy.  Along with fossil fuels Blunt wishes to use every available resource such as nuclear energy, and renewable resources.​

• Environmental Policies

          Blunt plans to limit the EPA's power and keep private water out of their jurisdiction, he's also against high carbon taxes.

• Foreign Policy

          Platform supports strong ties to Israel and allies with similar goals and visions, and whats to keep Iran from nuclear weapon capabilities as well as deterring foreign arms transactions with China, and supports normal trade relations with China.

• Health Care

          Platform wants to repeal  Obama Care and lower the cost of healthcare. He also supports small businesses having lower health care prices, and policies that have coverage of young adults on their parents plans through age 26.

• Gun Control

          Blunt fully supports the 2nd amendment, however he wants to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals while still protecting the right for everyone.

 

• Social Issue

          Blunt is pro-life and supports the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which protects the child from being aborted at 20 weeks. He also doesn't support same-sex marriage, however he does support anti-discrimination due to sexual orientation both in the work place and in job applications.
